Many aircraft that operate in the Alaskan bush are modified to operate more safely from short and unimproved airstrips. Kako has a Cessna 206, a six passenger, single engine aircraft. This aircraft has wing ailerons that droop down when the wing flaps are deployed. This feature enable us to fly slower approaches and at the same time get air born faster, giving us an increased margin of safety!
